Valdosta, GA - Valdosta State Softball will host two summer camps this year to be held June 27-29 and July 18-20. The camps will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and cost $100.

The camp will consist of quality instruction from Head Coach Thomas Macera, members of the VSU coaching staff as well as VSU softball players, winners of three consecutive Gulf South Conference Championships.

Campers will learn the timeless techniques of the modern day hitter, from the correct grip and set-up to the proper bat path and explosive lower half mechanics. They will also learn fundamentals for throwing, ground balls, fly balls and proper pitching technique.

Camp registration begins at 8 a.m. June 27 and July 18.
