Tommy King and Bennie Hatton are old fishing pals.
The Bainbridge, Georgia natives have won 34 tournaments together and consider their Lake Seminole home and its surrounding waters, the best place to reel 'em in.
"The lake produces the most big fish of any lake I've ever known," said King. "I fished a tournament a couple of years ago. The first 19 teams had over 20 pounds. I've never heard of that as much as I've been bass fishing tournaments in my life."
Now the entire country could be previed to this gem hidden in south Georgia.
Bainbridge is competing to become the Ultimate Fishing Town USA through the World Fishing Network contest.
Tommy and Bennie think it's a no brainer.
"It's probably the best lake in the US," said Hatton. "You can catch any fish you want. We've got trees grass rock piles. Professional bass fisherman love to fish in lakes that have hydrilla in it because it holds bait fish like shrimp. We've got the deep trees with channels running through it."
The duo says Bainbridge waters are perfect for any bait.
"You can throw spinner bait, worms anything basically you can catch big fish on," said King.
"I think Lake Seminole, anyone who wants to come, anyone who ever comes, will always come back," said Hatton.
With a renovated marina that can host hundreds of fisherman they hope people won't just come back, but that they'll tell their friends to vote.
