The FAMU Women's basketball team scored their 14th straight victory Monday night in a 5-point game against North Carolina A&T.

FAMU's "Think Pink" game featured a sluggish start by the MEAC leading Lady Rattlers. Coach LeDawn Gibson's squad led by 4 at intermission and then held on for the 68-65 victory Monday at the Al Lawson Center. The 68-point total was 34 points fewer than the Orange & Green total from Saturday's 102-66 beatdown of North Carolina Central.

Monday's game featured Antonio Bennett scoring her 1500th career point for FAMU. It also featured 3 players in double digit scoring (Bennett, 17 Points; Kimberly Sparkman, 19 Points; Tameka McKelton, 13 Points).

The Lady Rattlers improve to (17-5) overall, (10-0) versus the MEAC.

Oh Boo Hoo baby. FSU is a major college, not a small time school playing no body.

How is it that when FAMU womens basketball team wins 14 in a row no big deal? If it were FSU and they won three in a row it would be some kind of a big deal. If it is not race then what is it? Because as much negative press as FAMU gets when anything positive is happening it gets either little or no press and no comments from the usual racist.
