TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Tallahassee Cat Cafe says it has caught the tricky kitty that made its way into the ceiling last week.

The cafe says Sesame seems healthy “and just a little embarrassed.”

“We’re on our way to Allied for fluids and a check up, but she seems very healthy, and only a little annoyed,” owner Kate Logue says. “After that she’ll have to go in a play pen at lchs for a bit, and hopefully her story will have charmed someone!”

The cafe posted a video of the captured cat on its Facebook page around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

GOTCHA. She seems healthy and just a little embarrassed. On our way to Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital for a check up. We’ll update more in the morning, but she’s safe and on the ground. 🙌

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The case of the curious cat; the Tallahassee Cat Cafe has its hands full after one of its residents made a brazen escape.

The cafe has spent the last week trying to capture Sesame; after numerous different methods of attempting to catch it, the cat is still on the lam.

A clever cat and a frustrated business owner; Kate Logue has spent more than a week trying to catch the fearless feline after it leaped from a shelf in the cat room into the ceiling.

“Unless we can get one step ahead of her, the ceiling is where Sesame is living for right now.

Most of the insulation is now in a pile in the nearby trash to make way for a better view fr the new camera.

“Almost immediately we saw her walking around up there,” Louge said.

Cat traps only caught a raccoon. The fire department has come up empty. Twice.

And one of the co-owners is down for the count after falling off a ladder and breaking a hip.

“So, she’s really getting the best of us,” Louge said.

Despite a revolving menu of delicious delights, the clever cat is still living the high life in the ceiling above the store.

Louge says the Cat Cafe was closed for two months due to COVID-19 and just re-opened. They closed Sunday to put all their energy into finding Sesame, to no avail.
