TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A lot of players on the Florida State roster have had wild years, but maybe no single Seminole has endured more ups and downs throughout the 2020 campaign than Jordan Travis.

From being injured and becoming the forgotten man to many fans at quarterback in fall camp to securing the starting role against Jacksonville State to yet another injury against Pitt and now ready to go Saturday against Virginia, 2020 is the first time in his career that Travis is taking a lion’s share of the snaps in a season and, with the injury bug biting, Travis says the whole experience has taught him to take better care of his body.

”Getting treatment, every day, every time I can get it. When I feel good, I have to get treatment,” Travis said. “I learned a lot this year so I’m thankful for the year and everything that’s happened. I feel like it was a learning lesson so I’m ready to bounce back and finish these next two or three or four games and finish strong.”

Travis and the Noles are set for an 8 p.m. kickoff against UVA on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network.
