TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (247Sports) - Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski will miss the game against Florida State due to COVID-19 protocols, according to the program. In a release, Duke said that Krzyzewski was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

“Coach K will miss tomorrow’s game at Florida State to observe standard quarantine protocol after being exposed to an individual not in the travel party who tested positive for COVID-19,” Duke said in its release. “Coach K did not travel with the team to Tallahassee. Associate Head Coach Jon Scheyer will serve as acting head coach for Saturday’s game.”

Scheyer is considered a rising star in the industry and was one of the better players in recent program history, as he played for Duke from 2006 to 2010. The Blue Devils are just 3-2 on the season, but they did start 1-0 in the ACC with a road win over Notre Dame. Florida State is 5-2 overall and 1-1 in the ACC after falling to Clemson on Tuesday.

The Seminoles and Blue Devils are set for an 8 p.m. tip on Saturday.
