Thomas County Central’s Jones and Wallace sign national letters of intent

THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) - Thomas County Central football stars Jordan Jones and Tyler Wallace made their commitments official on National Signing Day.

Both Yellow Jackets will be staying in Georgia, as Jones signed his national letter of intent to play for Valdosta State, and Wallace signed on to join the Kennesaw State Football program.

Jones was a 2020 1st Team All-Region selection. He had 166 tackles in his high school career, averaging 7.4 tackles per game. Wallace was a 1st Team All-Region selection in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He is TCC’s all-time leader in kickoff return touchdowns, taking seven kicks to the house in his high school career.
