TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Lines wound around the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee Monday afternoon as the Florida Department of Health held its first clinic at the new location.

The DOH is no longer operating the drive-thru site on Municipal Way.

Several dozen people were in line for more than an hour before the clinic opened at 1 p.m. The clinic is by appointment only via the DOH website.

Most people in line Monday were in line to get their second shot.

“I like to go to Vegas once a year, so I mean if we could get back to normal so I could do that, that would be great,” Colton Woodward said.

“I really miss movie theater popcorn,” added Rachel Lammey.

The state-run site will be open Monday-Friday while Florida State continues to host its own clinics. Appointments for FSU’s services are available by clicking here.

The next first-dose clinic held by FSU will be next Thursday.
