TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -Good Evening! It was a wet Saturday across the Big Bend and South Georgia, with scattered showers and thunderstorms moving in from the northwest. More scattered showers and storms are possible this evening. Rain will likely linger overnight.

After the storms dissipate tonight, we’ll have a partly cloudy sky with temperatures in the mid-70s.

Sunday morning, we’ll have a chance for isolated showers and storms. Scattered storms will be possible in the afternoon, with temperatures climbing into the low to mid-90s. Severe storms are not expected on Sunday.

Chances for afternoon scattered storms continue next week, but the storms won’t be as widespread as Saturday and Sunday’s storms. Temperatures will stay in the low 90s through the middle of the week.

There is a tropical disturbance in the southern Gulf of Mexico with a 40% chance for development in the next five days.
