BPS arrests 2 following crystal meth, marijuana bust

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WCTV) - Bainbridge Public Safety said it arrested one man and one woman following a traffic stop drug bust at Murphy’s Gas.

Rodriques Latrell Williams, 39, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects.

Nicole Weber, 37, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects.

While performing a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon at Murphy’s Gas, BPS’ Criminal Enforcement Sergeant could smell the odor of marijuana as he approached the vehicle, BPS said.

Vehicle occupants Weber and Williams were asked if they had anything illegal inside of their vehicle, and they said they did and gave the sergeant a blunt.

They were then asked to step out of the vehicle so the sergeant could search it, and a BPS investigator arrived on scene to find crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, two digital scales and a quantity of small plastic baggies commonly used for narcotics inside.
