JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - A vehicle fire involving an RV on U-231 Northbound beyond County Line Road Near City Square Road caused traffic delays late Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Lance Corporal Patricia Jefferson Shaw with the Florida Highway Patrol told WCTV that the driver was able to get out of the RV, and no injuries were reported.

The RV is “completely” burnt.

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - UPDATE: The right lane is blocked as of 9:31 p.m. beyond County Line Road Near City Square Road.

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - All lanes of traffic are blocked at US-231 Northbound Near City Square Road in Jackson Co. are closed as of 8:56 p.m., according to Florida Department of Transportation.

The cause of the lane closure is a car fire, and the incident is considered “severe,” according to FDOT.
