TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Florida Dental Association Foundation is giving free dental care services to patients at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12.

The foundation expects to give care to about 1,000 patients during the two-day event. The Civic Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday as dentists provide services and oral health education.

This is the seventh year the FDA Foundation has hosted the “Florida Mission of Mercy” event. Each year has been held in different locations. Previously, they were held in Tampa, Jacksonville, Pensacola, Fort Myers and Orlando. In total, more than 11,000 patients received treatment, and the “donated dental care” was valued at more than $11 million.
