GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla (WCTV) - A 22-year-old woman died following a semi-truck crash on US 90 at Dunn Road near Chattahoochee.

Florida Highway Patrol said the woman driving a sedan was turning from northbound Dunn Road onto westbound US 90, while a semi-truck was driving eastbound on US 90 approaching Dunn Road.

The front of the semi-truck collided with the left side of the sedan and both vehicles remained in contact as they traveled northeast across the westbound lane and onto the north grass shoulder, according to FHP.

The semi-truck came to a final rest, facing east on top of the sedan.

The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead on the scene.

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - The Florida Highway Patrol says all east and westbound lanes of US 90 near Chattahoochee are closed following a fatal semi-truck crash in the area.

Troopers responded to the scene at the intersection of US 90 and Dunn Road around 11:25 a.m. Friday.

FHP says the crash was between a semi and a car, and the semi ended up on top of the other vehicle. So far, one death has been reported in the crash, troopers say.

As first responders work the scene of the crash, traffic is being rerouted to Bonnie Hill and Hardaway to avoid the complete roadblock.
