Digital Executive Producer
Pat Mueller is the station's Digital Executive Producer. He leads the newsroom's digital-first approach to breaking news and informing viewers in the Big Bend and South Georgia via the station's website, mobile app and social media pages.
Before joining the WCTV team, Pat was a digital producer at KCEN, the NBC-affiliate in Waco, Texas. During his time in Central Texas, Pat covered President George H.W. Bush's funeral, a former Baylor football captain's not guilty verdict in wake of a rape scandal and a complex double murder case that crossed several state lines.
Pat graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2018, earning a major in Radio-TV Sports and a minor in Political Science. He covered a blackmail scandal involving the governor, which ultimately led to a resignation, for the school's NBC-affiliated TV station, KOMU.
Pat also wrote fact checks on politicians' statements for PolitiFact Missouri while in school. When he wasn't chasing a story, he was playing long stick middie for Mizzou's lacrosse team.
Pat is a Navy brat, so pinpointing where he is from is difficult. If he had to choose one area to identify with, he'd choose Washington D.C., since he went to high school in the area. Out of all the places he lived, Gaeta, Italy was his favorite.
When Pat isn't furiously typing on the keyboard, he enjoys playing sports, watching movies and experimenting with new recipes.
