Anthony Bordanaro is a multimedia journalist and weather forecaster for WALB. He has been a member of the team since July 2021.
Born on Long Island, New York, Anthony first discovered his passion for weather when Hurricane Sandy hit his home hard. He attended college
at the University of Florida and graduated with a bachelor of science in geography with a focus in meteorology and climatology.
Anthony worked part-time for two years at the University of Florida's weather center. This is where he gained his knowledge in weather and skills in forecasting live and forecasting the tropics.
Anthony has been an avid runner since his high school days and carried that passion past college. Anthony has
run one marathon and three half marathons with a best time of 1:21:45 (6:15 per mile for 13.1 miles). Can you beat that?
When his eyes aren't glued to the radar, he also enjoys watching sports. His alliances go back to his New York days. Go Giants & Yankees!
