Hannah came from a military family and spent most of her childhood traveling the world. She grew up in Vermont, Texas, Alaska, Japan and South Dakota. Living in different climates sparked her interest in weather.
She studied Meteorology and Journalism at Iowa State University, where she produced the student-run television show Cy’s Eyes on the Skies. During the summer, she interned at KSFY in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
After graduation, Hannah forecasted for blizzards and severe weather as the Weekend Meteorologist at KDLT in Sioux Falls, SD.
Hannah moved to Tallahassee in December 2019. She’s excited to trade in Midwest Blizzards for Atlantic Hurricanes

If dogs could talk, Rosie would have quite the story! The Yorkie recently found here in the Big Bend, but her actual home is 470 miles south of the Capital City. The Tallahassee Animal Service Center learning of her origins thanks to a microchip.

Tomorrow morning we’ll wake up to fog and a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures in the 60s. Make sure to give yourself a few extra minutes on Monday morning’s commute. In the afternoon, temperatures will rise into the upper 70s and low 80s. Showers are expected late tomorrow afternoon.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for most of the Big Bend and South Georgia as heavy rain continues to make its way through the region. Flood advisories are in effect for parts of Franklin, Wakulla, Leon, Jefferson Thomas, Brooks, Lowndes, Colquitt, Cook, Irwin, Berrien, Irwin, and Tift counties. If you have to travel tonight, make sure to avoid flooded roadways. However, it might be best to stay at home.
