Michelle Roberts

Michelle is joining the Good Morning Show and WCTV as an MMJ.

Before joining the WCTV family, Michelle anchored and produced 12 News This Morning and 12 News at Noon at WBNG in Binghamton, New York. She also reported during the morning and noon newscasts and filled in as host of the lifestyle show, "Around the Tiers."

In 2020, Michelle and the WBNG team won Outstanding Morning Newscast for Small Market by the New York State Broadcasters Association.

Prior to that, she was a Field Hockey Analyst for the Big Ten Network and a Digital Sports Reporter and Sideline Reporter for National Pro Fastpitch and USSSA in Kansas City.

Michelle graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Screen Arts and Cultures. During that time, she reported on Michigan Athletics for mgoblue.com, and anchored and reported for Civic Center TV in West Bloomfield, Michigan. She also interned at ABC News in New York City, WJRT in Flint, Michigan, and WBOC in Salisbury, Maryland.

She was also a student-athlete on the University of Michigan Field Hockey team, earning three Big Ten Championships and competing in the NCAA Elite 8 and Sweet 16.

Michelle loves visiting her family and friends in her hometown of Pocomoke City, Maryland, and going to the beach in Ocean City. She is always wearing Maize and Blue, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines, and looking for her next sporting event to watch or compete in.

She is excited to get to know people in the community and explore places in Florida and Georgia!
