Leon County’s Resources to Stay Busy During COVID-19

As we face COVID-19, and many events and social activities are being cancelled or postponed, Leon County is providing resources and opportunities for residents to stay engaged. From online library resources, to virtual history tours, to trails and nature walks, there are many opportunities to take advantage of while practicing social distancing.

Library Resources

The physical Libraries may be closed, but online services are not! Residents can still enjoy any of the numerous online offerings provided by the library including downloading eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines and streaming movies with Kanopy free of charge. Use this extra time at home to learn to speak a new language using RBdigital or access free online learning like Universal Class, Learning Express and more.

History and Heritage

Want to explore Tallahassee-Leon County but don’t plan on leaving the house? You can now tour Tallahassee-Leon County virtually with Leon County's new History in Your Hands Historical Mapping resource, which allows users to go back in time and discover over 400 years of local history. Through hundreds of archival photos and source document links, you can learn all about the people, places and things that once were in our community.
