TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Tallahassee Police Department says a man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at the Governor's Square Apartments last week.

According to TPD, 40-year-old Amos Moorer Jr. was identified to police by one of the shooting victims, who believed that Moorer traveled to Tallahassee to harm her and her boyfriend out of jealousy.

The victim told police that she saw Moorer outside of her apartment when she left to walk her dog. The victim's boyfriend then went outside to look for him when Moorer shot at both victims at least five times, before fleeing in a blue Acura, according to police.

Both were wounded in the shooting.

According to TPD, Moorer was arrested in Jacksonville on Friday by FDLE and US Marshals.

He's currently charged with two counts of premeditated attempted homicide.
