GADSDEN, CO., Fla. (WCTV) -- The drivers of three semi trucks were not injured when one of the vehicles began to jackknife Wednesday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:55 p.m. on Interstate 10 westbound near mile marker 161 in Gadsden County.
The crash report states that 54-year-old Juan Dupeyron was approaching a curve when he had to brake hard to avoid colliding with a car in front of him. The tractor of the truck began to jackknife and struck a second semi traveling in the inside lane.
Dupeyron's vehicle continued to rotate and collided with a concrete wall along the shoulder before coming to final rest. Troopers say the driver of a third semi truck could not stop in time and hit Dupeyron's truck.
There were no reported injuries.
FHP says Dupeyron has been charged with careless driving.
