TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Darius Phillips, 26, is charged with murder, attempted murder and armed robbery.
Phillips is accused of shooting 26-year-old Anthony Bell Sunday afternoon at the Greystone Place Apartments on Jackson Bluff Road in Tallahassee.
"He was my only son. I had four girls and one boy. Now, I have four girls and no boy," said Donna Worlds, Bell's mother.
Arrest documents say Phillips set up a deal to buy marijuana from Bell. They met in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
The report says Phillips walked up to Bell's car and shot him in head with a revolver. Police say he also shot a woman in the passenger seat in the chest.
The woman was able to get out of the car and run across the street to the gas station and call for help.
"That's past foolishness. Let's come together as a team and a family and get it together. But, I'm glad they caught him," one Tallahassee man said.
Bell's mother says Phillips went through Bell's pockets after shooting him and the woman. The arrest report says Phillips then walked back to his car with a white bag in his hand and hopped in the back seat.
"Why you got to go rob? Why you got to go take from somebody else, take their life?" Worlds said.
The arrest report says police found a small 38-caliber revolver in the bottom of the stove at Phillips' apartment, wrapped in a towel. They also found two spent casings hidden in the living room under the couch and a bookcase.
Officers found a backpack and a pair of men's blood-stained shoes in a hall closet.
Phillips was arrested Monday night at his job, Burger King on South Monroe Street.
"It feels good just knowing that we have basically someone that has murdered someone off the streets. That way, another family can't be affected again. We're also just asking everyone to, if you see anything, to just say something," said Officer Damon Miller with the Tallahassee Police Department.
The arrest report says there was a driver and two passengers in the car Phillips was riding in. There is no word on any other charges at this time.
The last update we've been able to get on the female victim was Monday. At that time, she was still in the hospital.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- An arrest report reveals new details on what led up to a weekend shooting in Tallahassee that left a man dead and a woman injured.
The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Greystone Place Apartments at 2416 Jackson Bluff Road.
26-year-old Anthony Bell was killed in the shooting and a 22-year-old woman was injured.
On Tuesday, police arrested 26-year-old Darius Phillips.
According to arrest documents, the shooting appears to have been a drug deal turned deadly.
A witness told police that the victim had arranged to sell narcotics to Phillips and had agreed to meet him that afternoon at the apartment complex.
The witness claims that during the meet-up, the victim told Phillips that he could not sit in the back seat of his car because there was no room. The witness said Phillips then approached the driver's side door and fired two shots at the victims before fleeing the scene in a silver sedan.
Police say surveillance video taken from the area corroborated the witness' statements.
Another witness told police that Phillips went to his job at a local fast food restaurant that afternoon around 4 p.m., less than an hour after the murder.
Police say a revolver matching the one used in the murder was found in Phillips' apartment, along with two spent shell casings and a pair of blood-stained men's shoes.
Following the investigation, Phillips was arrested on charges of first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and robbery with a firearm. He remains in the Leon County Detention Facility.
