TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- An Asplundh Tree Expert Company truck flipped onto its side Wednesday morning, blocking the roadway and knocking out power in the area.

The truck overturned near May Day Landscaping Supply on Apalachee Parkway heading towards Chaires Cross Road.

Rick May, the owner of May Day Landscaping Supply, says the incident happened around 10 a.m. He said there appeared to be a crew member in the bucket trimming trees when the truck began to tip over.

The crew member was reportedly not injured in the accident.

May said the electricity in his store was knocked out when the arm of the truck fell on power lines.

As of 1:30 p.m., the truck had been put upright, but traffic on Apalachee Parkway is still down to one lane.
