TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Dale Tadlock, owner of Tadlock Roofing, did not back down on his bold pledge to raise money for Boys Town.
Back on Giving Tuesday, just after Thanksgiving, he promised to jump from a plane if he reached a goal of raising $10,000 for Boys Town North Florida.
Donors came through, and on Saturday, Tadlock found himself thousands of feet in the air, ready to leap.
"This is just one segment of what we do in giving back to the community and fulfilling our 'why' statement," Tadlock said.
The company matched the $10,000 raised for a total donation of $20,000 to Boys Town.
