TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Railroad Square was filled with live painting, food and a fashion show Sunday night. Community members were able to get an inside look at what Tallahassee's local art scene is all about.
Chelse Collins, one of the contributors, says she wants participants to support local businesses.
"We really hope that people will start to enjoy the culture, what Tallahassee has to offer," she said.
The Celebration of the Arts Event featured local artists, like Matthew Miller, who hopes that those in attendance will challenge their creativity.
"I hope that people are inspired by what they see and they go and find their own creative outlet and go start making their own art," Miller says.
The art allows different entrepreneurs and different demographics to immerse themselves in the scene.
Violinist Nick Batina said, "I'm really excited to collaborate with all these people who we've been talking to for a long time."
Co-partner of Winner's Circle Entertainment, John Edouard, says, "We can get a group of people collectively to come together and enjoy a open-minded experience."
An experience that gives individuals a front row seat to the latest in Tallahassee's art realm.
One viewer, Royalandara Holden, states, "Seeing others do their different talents may inspire someone else to go out and show everyone that they're talented and not be afraid to show what they're good at."
