Wrecked semi-truck blocks lane on I-75 in Cook County

COOK COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) -- The Georgia Department of Transportation is reporting a crash with lane closures along interstate 75 in Cook County.

Authorities say the crash is blocking the inside lane on I-75 southbound at exit 39.

GDOT says the crash happened around 11:45 Monday night and involved a semi-truck.

The cab of the truck was removed from the scene early Tuesday morning, but crews are still working to remove the remainder of the wreckage.

Drivers should use caution in the area.
