TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Will he stay, or will he go?
That's the question surrounding Florida State University head football coach Jimbo Fisher, following rumors that he plans to accept a job at Texas A&M University.
"Please stay Jimbo. That's all I want," said Hannah Strauss, a freshman at FSU.
The unanswered question is leaving some FSU fans with "Jimbo-Limbo" fatigue.
"He hasn't been clear with how he's deciding. We just want him to say, 'I'm staying at Florida State' and call it a day," said Strauss.
"We've stuck behind him this whole season with all the losing streaks and injuries. All of that. So I think he should respect us and give a decision now. So we're not just waiting in limbo," said junior Natalie Hegwein.
The rumors have been the talk of the town- both on campus and off.
"I think people like the drama. It is the talk of the town," said Michael Manias, an FSU junior.
Many, even took to social media to air their grievances.
Twitter user Li'l J tweeted, "It's tiring... year after year watching coaches flirt leaving for other teams... Looking at you, Jimbo."
Erik Winkler tweeted, "I want Jimbo to stay, big fan of what he has done for the program but we need answers ASAP. It's been dragged out way too long."
Some students said they're just ignoring all of the speculation.
"Rumors are rumors. I'm just waiting for the final decision," said Austin Safferd, a sophomore.
But many also added that the final decision has the potential to be "devastating" to fans.
"I feel like he's a big part of FSU. And a big representation of FSU. It would be like losing a family member," said Safferd.
