TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Seminoles earned their sixth win of the season with a 42-10 victory over Louisiana Monroe in the first game of the post Jimbo Fisher-era.
FSU was led by the rushing attack of Cam Akers and Jacques Patrick; both backs ran for over 100 yards and each had two rushing touchdowns.
Akers finishes his freshman campaign regular season with 930 yards rushing and seven touchdowns after his performance on Saturday.
Freshman QB James Blackman went 14 of 22 passing for 197 yards and one touchdown, but also had two interceptions.
The Noles will now play the waiting game as they awaiting to see what bowl they will compete in to end their season.
