FSU's Thomas selected by Los Angeles in WNBA Draft

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Former Florida State player Shakayla Thomas has been selected in the second round of the WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks.
Thomas, who played four years with the Noles, finished her FSU career as the Noles second all-time points leader, top ten in rebounds and a three time ACC First Team selection.
She becomes the 13th Seminole all-time to be drafted in the WNBA Draft.
The Sparks went 26-8 in 2017 and lost the WNBA Finals in five games to Minnesota.
Thomas joins Maria Vadeeva from Russia in the Sparks' draft class.
