TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- In his first full recruiting cycle, Willie Simmons brought in 19 names for the Florida A&M Rattlers, with potentially up to eight more players still to sign.
The class, featuring a host of local names and even more from north Florida in general, does exactly what any FAMU fan would want ahead of 2019. With a team that will remain competitive and still has room to grow, the addition of just about everyone they were able to sign will add depth to their current roster, as well as grow a stable pipeline in Tallahassee.
What grade would you give FAMU’s 2019 recruiting class? #Strike19 #FangsUp

FAMU fans say they give Simmons' class a "B," and one can only assume that's because of the lack of a signing of a designated safety (of which FAMU lists just two on their current online roster) and a kicker with Yahia Aly graduating, which in the grand scheme of things are very little nit picks.
