FHP identifies man killed in fiery Suwannee County crash

O'BRIEN, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the man killed in a fiery crash in Suwannee County.
Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on 224th Street in O'Brien.
Suwannee County Fire Rescue, the Suwannee County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Highway Patrol were notified of the crash around 1:24 p.m.
According to FHP, the driver ran off of the roadway and struck a tree before the vehicle caught on fire.
Crews arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
The driver, identified as 68-year-old Charles Lilly, of Lake City, was killed in the crash.
Fire crews put out the vehicle fire and also had to control a nearby brush fire.
No word on the exact cause of the crash.
