TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The high school football playoffs continue this weekend and the Florida High Seminoles have cruised through the postseason with wins over Pensacola Catholic and Taylor County.

Now, the Noles are on the cusp of something special - their first ever state title. To get to Orlando, Jarrod Hickman's squad will have to get through one-loss King's Academy in Friday's state semifinal.

It's a familiar setting for FSUS, who are prepared for the biggest stage of the season.

"It's gigantic. I would say it's probably the second biggest game that you want to be in, you know there's only one other game that's more important," Hickman said. "We fought really hard to be back in this game where we were a year ago and the goal was to get it at home. We've done that and now we've got to go out and play good football against a good team. If we do, I like our chances."
