WASHINGTON (Gray DC) -- Senator Rick Scott provides an update on Hurricane Michael recovery efforts and the delays in action from Capitol Hill. He working with lawmakers across the aisle and the White House to push through a multi-billion dollar federal relief package for victims of last year's powerful storm.
Scott also speaks with DC Correspondent Alana Austin about his reaction to fellow Florida Republican, Rep. Matt Gaetz's controversial tweet on Michael Cohen. He says lawmakers must be more careful with social media but the apology from Gaetz should stand.
Gaetz is under investigation by the Florida bar for a tweet posted ahead of the Cohen hearing on Capitol Hill, seeming to threaten the witness.
Scott says he intends to continue working with all Florida members, including Gaetz, to work on important issues for constituents.
