GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) -- As Hurricane Michael nears the region, Gadsden County is enforcing a county-wide curfew.
The curfew begins at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10. The county has not said when the curfew will be lifted.
All residents and visitors will be required to remain indoors during the curfew. Anyone who has not evacuated the county or gone to a local shelter must find a safe place in their home for the duration of the storm.
Even when the curfew is not in effect, citizens should limit travel on public roadways to allow officials to conduct response and recovery efforts.
The restriction does not apply to law enforcement officers, military personnel or emergency management staff assigned to hurricane disaster duties.
