SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office is looking for three suspects wanted in connection to an overnight burglary at a local gun shop.

The incident happened around 3 a.m. Thursday at Lundy’s Guns, located at 10235 US 129 South.

Deputies responded to an alarm at the business and arrived on scene within four minutes to find the store burglarized. The store owner was called to the scene and confirmed that multiple handguns had been stolen.

SCSO says K9 teams from Suwannee and Hamilton correctional institutions responded to the scene and began searching for the suspects. After tracking the suspects to the area of Mussey Avenue and McGee Street, they lost the trail and were not able to locate them.

Investigators then reviewed surveillance videos from nearby businesses. SCSO says they believe that three suspects rode bicycles west on 100th Street before waiting in the S&S Food Store parking lot at the intersection of Bass Road and US 129 for a vehicle to pass, then approached the gun shop. They then fled the area utilizing the same route.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Investigator Wayne Kelly at 386-362-2222. Callers may choose to remain anonymous.
