TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Florida State is tightening their dancing shoes after the Seminoles were placed as a four seed in the NCAA Tournament bracket on Sunday, marking the Noles' third-straight year making the big dance.
This year for FSU, it'll all begin in Hartford, Connecticut.
The Seminoles' first game will come against the #13 Vermont Catamounts, with a 2 p.m. tip off time.
FSU enters the tournament hot, with wins against Virginia Tech and Virginia in the ACC Tournament preceding their loss to Duke, who garnered the #1 overall seed in the bracket, in the title game.
After the draw against Vermont was announced, head coach Leonard Hamilton said if they keep that mental toughness they showed last week, the Noles should be well prepared for the big dance.
"Physically, where we are, we'll take a couple of days to rest but not very much rest because we're playing on Thursday," he said. "But, right now, I'm more concerned about where we are mentally and if we are mentally and emotionally okay, I think physically we'll be able to go out and represent ourselves."
Thursday's game will be broadcast on TBS.
