TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Leon County Schools is asking parents for their input.

LCS has posted a survey to its Facebook page, asking parents to share their preferences for the calendar for the upcoming school year.

Last year, students had a full week off from classes for the Thanksgiving holiday, but not everyone was happy about the change.

The district hopes the survey will help them make a decision for next year's calendar.

"We're here to serve other people, and most importantly, our students and their families and what best fits their needs," said LCS Superintendent Rocky Hanna.

The survey closes on Sunday, January 28, and the school board is expected to make a decision in March.
