TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Leon County Sheriff's Office staff members toured the newly renovated work space Friday. The $40,000 project includes upgrades to computers, phones, and the meeting space.

The renovation project took one month to complete. LCSO says the goal is to have a full-functioning office from any location.

“Whether it be a football game or Springtime Tallahassee. We’ve also done a missing persons where we need to have a command structure on scene, onsite of where we’re at, that can immediately run those operations. We can do it from here, “said Lt. Grady Jordan.

The renovation was paid for by LCSO’s operating budget.
