TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Leon County Sheriff's Office says it has arrested a 55-year-old man for shooting a gun at someone after an argument at a gas station on Highway 27.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene at the Chevron at the corner of Chaires Cross Road and Highway 27 around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday after an argument ended with a gun shot.

LCSO says two people were in a physical fight and, as the fight was coming to an end, John McLeod pulled out a gun and fired two shots from a car about 25 feet away.

According to deputies, a man was hit in the ear and arm.

McLeod was taken to the Leon County Detention Facility. He faces a charge of firing a gun in public from a car within 1,000 feet of a person.
