Arrest made in burglary, arson at local elementary school

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Leon County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection to a burglary and arson at Buck Lake Elementary School.
LCSO Lt. Grady Jordan confirms that the suspect arrested is a juvenile.
A second individual captured on surveillance video has not yet been identified.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Leon County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary and arson at Buck Lake Elementary School.
The incident was reported on April 17 by a school resource officer. LCSO says they believe the crime happened the weekend prior.
LCSO Lt. Grady Jordan says it appears that two individuals, believed to be juveniles, lit a soccer ball on fire on the concrete walkway outside the school. The individuals also tried to set some mulch on fire.
LCSO they are investigating the case as a burglary as well, due to the fact that the individuals were on school grounds to commit another crime.
The Sheriff's Office has also released surveillance photos from the school that are believed to show the suspects. WCTV is choosing not to release the photos because the suspects are believed to be juveniles.
