Family identifies man found dead in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV)-- The Leon County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in a car early Sunday morning.
Deputies were called to the intersection of Ross Road and Crawfordville Highway around 5 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies found a man dead in a vehicle.
Family members told WCTV that the victim's name is Cedric Hayes Jr. They say he passed away after being shot.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Leon County Sheriff's deputies are working a crime scene at the intersection of Ross Road and Crawfordville Highway.
Deputies say they got a call around 5:00 a.m. regarding a disabled vehicle in the area. They say a man was found dead in the car.
It's still early on in the investigation, but deputies say they do suspect foul play.
Northbound lanes of Crawfordville Highway are closed because of the active investigation.
