Leon County deputies searching for robbery suspect

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Leon County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man accused of stealing a phone from a woman who had posted it for sale online.

LCSO says on Tuesday, deputies responded to the 1600 block of Rawhide Ridge in reference to a robbery.

The victim told deputies she had posted a cell phone for sale on a mobile phone app and arranged to meet with a potential buyer near Rawhide Ridge. When she showed the phone to the man, he reportedly grabbed the phone, shoved the victim and ran away.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, wearing a grey shirt and long dark colored pants. His hair was cut short.
