Leon High School announces hiring of boys basketball coach

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Leon High School has announced the hiring of Sean Crowe as the head boys basketball coach.

Crowe comes to LHS with over 15 years of experience coaching high school basketball. He was the freshman and JV coach at Chiles for five years, was a coach for the AAU Tallahassee Bulls for three years and has head coaching stops at Tallavana Christian School, Wakulla High School and FAMU DRS, where he took the Baby Rattlers to the Final Four twicei n the last three years.

"Coach Crowe brings varied and valuable experience to Leon," said LHS Athletic Director Mark Feely. "We were attracted to his intellect, his unique background and his understanding of high school program building.

"It was evident that Coach Crowe was excited about the potential at Leon, and can't wait to get started," Feely continued.

Leon's previous head coach, Rick Davis, was hired by Chiles for the same position last month.
