TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Court documents show the eight-month relationship between the teacher and 17-year-old male student started with a text message in June 2015. Texting became a daily routine.
The documents say Casalvieri asked the student to send him a picture of his penis. He sent Casalvieri two photos of himself via Snapchat.
Thirty-year-old Brad Casalvieri was a science teacher and football coach at Lincoln High School at the time.
On July 5th or 6th, the court documents say the boy went to Casalvieri's house. While there, they began talking about streaking. Casalvieri dared him to streak to the mailbox. The daring escalated until Casalvieri dared him to take off all his clothes and stand naked in front of him. He removed all his clothing and was standing in front of Casalvieri naked. They began kissing, then performed oral sex on each other.
Court documents say Casalvieri and the boy had a sexual encounter at the school. It was in the second floor bathroom of the History building. According to the report, that was their last encounter, which was on the student's 18th birthday in February of 2016.
The documents say the two had more than 20 various sexual encounters. Most were at Casalvieri's house while his wife wasn't home, and once was at the student's home while his parents were out of town. Documents also say several encounters were in they boy's vehicle or Casalvieri's vehicle.
The report says at one point, the student asked Casalvieri if it were okay to tell a counselor about their relationship. The report says Casalvieri said, "If it helps you, but make sure he doesn't tell anyone."
It goes on to reveal Casalvieri said, "What we did was illegal, unethical for my job and I'm married. We don't need a scandal about a teacher and student."
Tallahassee resident Beverly Mount said, "So, what does that mean? Basically the child's safety is not as important as the teacher's reputation. Is that what I'm understanding. It shouldn't be that way."
Casalvieri moved to Leon High School this school year. District officials say it was to further his football coaching career. Right now Casalvieri is on unpaid suspension pending the outcome of the investigation.
Jail records show he has been released on bond.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Brad Casalvieri, 30, has been arrested for having sex with a student.
Casalvieri is a biology teacher and football coach at Leon High School. However, authorities say the charges stem from Casalvieri's time at Lincoln High School, where he was also a teacher and coach.
Deputies at the Leon County Sheriff's Office say they got an anonymous tip. They ultimately discovered enough evidence to charge the seemingly beloved teacher.
Word has been spreading fast at Leon High School about one of their favorite teachers.
"I don't believe it," Said A'Nylah Cobb, a 9th grade student at Leon High.
A'Nylah says the man who teaches her Biology honors class can't be the man charged with having sex with a student. "He's not that type of person. I don't think he's that type of person to do stuff like that. He was just too nice. He's always smiling and stuff. He's funny."
Investigators say Casalvieri had an ongoing sexual relationship with a student while working at Lincoln. Deputies say it lasted from June 2015 through February 2016.
Stephanie Edwards' is a concerned parent. Her daughter is a sophomore at Lincoln. She said, "Oh, my goodness, that is definitely crossing the line. I am extremely sad to hear that."
Deputies say they have evidence of 24 sexual encounters between Casalvieri and the student. At least one of those encounters was on school grounds, the others were off campus, according to deputies.
Carolyn Rucker's granddaughter goes to Lincoln. She said, "It reminds me of several of the old cases. That's been a while, so if it's still going on, they probably need to try to do something to fix it."
Chris Petley, the Leon County Schools Spokesperson, said, "The safety and security of our students is and always will be our top priority. Every Leon County employee has to undergo a level two background check. Additionally, coaches go through an annual ethics review training program."
A part of the background check consists of fingerprints being submitted for statewide and federal criminal checks.
School officials confirm Casalvieri was immediately suspended without pay pending the outcome of the investigation.
