TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Air Force Master Sergeant Christina Sullivan returned home to a big surprise after a year-long deployment in Afghanistan.
Sergeant Sullivan wasn't expecting anything when she landed at the Tallahassee Airport Thursday, but her family and friends had other plans in mind.
They showed up by the dozens, with home-made t-shirts and signs. They even invited the Freedom Riders to welcome Sullivan home.
The biggest surprise of all?
Sullivan's son, Jacob, waiting for her front and center, embracing her in a long overdue hug.
But the surprises didn't stop there. A stretch limousine was waiting out front to take Sullivan wherever she desired.
"Home please," Sullivan requested, hoping to enjoy some much deserved rest, relaxation, and time with her family.
