TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Lockdown has been lifted at Godby High School after police activity in the area earlier Monday.
Godby Principal Shelly Bell said that about 15 minutes into lunch, the school was notified by law enforcement of activity in the area and that students were held inside the building until around 12:20 p.m.
Bell says the campus is now safe and students have resumed their regular schedule.
According to Leon County Schools spokesman Chris Petley, the lockdown lasted about 25-30 minutes.
