TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- A man wanted in connection to an armed burglary at a Tallahassee home has been arrested on a warrant.

37-year-old R.E. Hollis was taken into custody on Sunday.

According to arrest documents, Hollis was identified as one of two suspects responsible for a break-in on November 27 at a home on Nugget Lane.

The victim told police she was house sitting for a friend that evening when she heard a knock on the door around 11 p.m. and thought it was the friend returning home. Instead, when she answered the door, two unknown males let themselves in and began asking where the friend was.

The victim said the men became aggressive and she asked them to leave, which is when one of the men pulled out a handgun and pointed it at her. The victim claims the other man, later identified as Hollis, then began stealing valuables from the home while the man with the gun assaulted her.

The suspects fled with two flat screen TVs, along with the victim's cellphone and driver's license. The victim ran to a neighbor's house for help.

Following an investigation, Hollis was arrested on multiple charges, including armed burglary, burglary with assault and grand theft.

The other suspect was not yet identified in arrest documents.

Hollis remains in the Leon County Detention Facility.
