TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- One family in Valdosta received a surprise on Thursday that they will never forget.
Tech-Sergeant Marcus Goodloe shocked his daughter by appearing in front of her classmates as she was taking down her school flag.
After serving overseas for more than five months, Goodloe was able to embrace his daughter Nevaeh.
After the surprise, Goodloe helped his daughter take down the flag and fold it. The principal then put it in a “Welcome Home” display case, and gave it back to the family as a keep safe.
The school resource officer helped Goodloe pull off the big surprise.
