One dead, another in serious condition after motorcycle crash at West Tennessee Street intersection

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) — The Tallahassee Police Department says the driver of the motorcycle in Friday's crash at the intersection of West Tennessee and Blountstown streets has died from their injuries.

TPD also says no one was injured in the car that was involved.

Officials say the preliminary investigation says both vehicles had solid green lights, and the car attempted to turn left from Tennessee Street onto Bloutstown Street.

Authorities say the car turned in front of the oncoming motorcycle,c causing the crash.

Officials say there is still an ongoing investigation.

No update was given on the second person who was injured, who was originally listed as in serious condition.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) — The Tallahassee Police Department says it is investigating a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle at the intersection of West Tennessee and Blountstown streets.

Police say the crash happened a little after 11:30 a.m. Friday. Two people were on the motorcycle, and they were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Police say lanes traveling east on West Tennessee Street have reopened and traffic has resumed normal operations as of noon on Friday.
