LIVE OAK, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office says that the suspect in a Live Oak murder has turned himself in.

Authorities say Kenyon D. Mitchell is accused of shooting and killing Waundrell Jarvese Jerry, 24, early Sunday morning.

Suwannee County Sheriff Tony Cameron told WCTV that Mitchell surrendered Thursday around noon.

SCSO says it had been in communication with Mitchell's family and they convinced him to turn himself in.

He's being held without bond on first degree murder charges.

Investigators are conducting more interviews and continue to look into what else went on early Sunday outside the Live Oak Shrine Club, where the shooting happened, Cameron says.
