VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) -- The homecoming celebrations continued Friday as six airmen touched down at Moody Air Force Base after their six-month deployment.

On Thursday, more than 200 airmen with the 75th Fighter Squadron of Moody Air Force Base returned home in an emotional reunion in Valdosta. On Friday the hugs and tears continued when six pilots in the same squadron landed on the base.

The group have spent the last six months in Southwest Asia.

One of those pilots was Lt. Col. Sean Hall.

"Surreal, hasn't sunk in yet. It's just a little unbelievable, I think until we get home it's just going to be surreal," Hall said.

This is the fourth deployment Hall has completed. Alongside his wife, Rena, the two said the moment he gets off the plane is just as sweet as the first.

"This is awesome, this is an awesome day for the whole family," Rena said. "And to get to share it with the little kids and everyone, and the whole community, it's really awesome."

In all there are about 360 members of the 75th Fighter Squadron. One more group will be returning from overseas on Sunday. The final group will return next week.
